Emergency Care

• ED manages accident victims, providing first aid treatment of injuries and patient is referred to appropriate speciality or hospital, in case specialist care which is not provided in the hospital, is necessary.
• Attending all medico-legal formalities including documentation of clinical conditions and other particulars and initiation to and liaison with the police.
• Attending all medical, paediatric and surgical emergencies.
• Treating them and observing them for short period to determine whether they need admission or to be referred to a higher centre or to be discharged home.
